About Us
New Carrollton Early Learning Center has been providing Quality Early Childhood Education for 35 Years.
We participate in the Maryland State Department of Education Excels program, which is a voluntary Quality Rating and Improvement System for Maryland's Child Care and Early Childhood Education Programs. The Center currently holds a Level Three Rating.

PHILOSOPHY
We believe that a early learning center should provide children with a warm, home like environment. Our staff members have a genuine love of children, which is shown through their continuous display of warmth, affection and understanding.
We believe that children learn best in a supportive atmosphere. Success and self-esteem are nurtured and reinforced, creating confidence in each child.
We believe that through strengthening social and intellectual capabilities, children adjust quicker and are better prepared for life. We teach them how to compare, reason, reorganize and make decisions, abilities that make a child safer in today's world.
We Believe that parents play an essential part in their children's child care experience. Through daily notices, schedules and events, parents are kept abreast of the skills children are learning at the center.

Staff
Our Center Staff are all certified and credentialed through the Maryland State Department of Education.
All of our teachers are qualified early childhood professionals who have met strict enforced state standards Including training in First Aid and C.P.R.. In addition, the teachers are continually upgrading their skills through participation in workshops and classes pertaining to early childhood development. They have been selected not only for their knowledge and experience in the field of early childhood education, but also for their personal, educational philosophy and teaching style. Each member must pass a thorough check of personal references, a comprehensive health examination and obtain a clearance from the state and federal criminal justice system.
Children thrive when their teachers are deeply interested and committed to each one of them. Our teacher's enjoy working with children and parents to create a warm and consistent environment. The staff members are facilitators of learning and respect the idea that each participates in the process of learning in their own unique way.
